Matific is a global leader in maths education software, loved by educators, students and parents across more than 60 countries. The platform blends proven pedagogy with gamified learning to help young minds build mathematical confidence. We were thrilled to be engaged by the Matific team to help enhance this fantastic product.
Our work focussed on UX design consulting and app enhancement, with a clear objective: increase engagement and improve the user journey across mobile and desktop experiences. Given the scale and audience diversity of the Matific platform—spanning schools, individual families, and educational departments—every UX decision had to serve multiple user types seamlessly.
We collaborated closely with Matific’s internal product and engineering teams to review and refine key interaction points within the app. That included onboarding, lesson flow, progress tracking and reward systems. Using data-backed insights and stakeholder workshops, we helped streamline touchpoints to improve clarity and increase engagement—especially for younger learners navigating independently.
The project also called for attention to accessibility, device responsiveness and consistency of user experience across web and native apps. Our recommendations contributed to visual refreshes, interface tweaks, and interactive layout improvements—all designed to help keep students immersed in their learning without friction or distraction.
