FishFlicks came to us with a bold vision: to build a streaming service tailored exclusively for lovers of fishing and outdoor adventure. Think Netflix—but for reels, rods, and the great outdoors. We were hooked from the start.

This was a true end-to-end digital project. Our team led the design and development of FishFlicks across web, iOS, Android, and Smart TV platforms—a major technical undertaking requiring flawless cross-platform synchronisation. We architected a scalable, user-friendly platform capable of delivering over 1,000 hours of premium outdoor content, featuring legends like Rex Hunt, Paul Worsteling, and the Line and Sinker crew.

Project Details

We integrated membership functionality, secure billing systems, and subscription management, allowing users to access content seamlessly across desktop, mobile, tablet, and TV. Apple TV (via AirPlay) and Google Chromecast support were baked in from the outset to give users viewing flexibility no matter the screen size.

Beyond development, our focus was on creating a viewing experience as effortless as it is immersive. Whether it was showcasing product demos, educational tutorials or adrenaline-packed spear fishing, we designed the interface to make exploring content easy and enjoyable. Playback modes, content filtering by show/season, and rock-solid video streaming were all fine-tuned to the expectations of serious fishos.

FishFlicks has grown to become Australia’s leading fishing and outdoors streaming service—and we’re proud to have helped turn that ambition into a robust, reality-ready platform. It’s been a standout project for us in the streaming space, and a great example of how niche audiences can be served with world-class digital products.
