Partnering with the University of New South Wales was a significant and rewarding engagement for our team. As one of Australia’s leading universities, UNSW required a digital solution that could support meaningful connections between postgraduate research students and employers across a wide range of disciplines. The objective was clear. Create a streamlined online platform where organisations, businesses and individuals could discover highly qualified research talent ready to contribute as teachers, researchers or technical assistants.
We designed and developed a purpose built web application tailored to UNSW’s requirements. The platform enables employers to search and browse student profiles based on discipline, research interests and availability. Advanced filtering functionality was implemented to ensure employers can quickly identify candidates aligned with specific academic or technical needs, with a user journey that feels intuitive, professional and efficient.
For students, the platform provides a comprehensive profile submission system. Postgraduate researchers can upload detailed information including their discipline focus, activity and research interests, preferred working hours, current education status, plus photo and CV uploads. This ensures every profile presents a complete and credible snapshot of the candidate’s skills and readiness to work.
Behind the scenes, the system was engineered for reliability, security and scalability. Data management was structured to support large volumes of profiles while maintaining strong performance and information integrity, providing a solution that can grow alongside future university and industry needs.
What stands out most in this project is the impact. The platform strengthens the bridge between higher education and industry by improving visibility for students and giving employers direct access to specialised research talent. It is a solution built not only for efficiency, but for long term academic and professional growth.
